Dr. Kumar Saurabh is a senior Vitreoretina specialist. He obtained his MBBS degree from Burdwan Medical College and completed MS ophthalmology from prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College Kolkata in 2009.Thereafter he did a two years clinical vitreoretina fellowship in medical and surgical retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
After completing the fellowship he joined Sankara Nethralaya Chennai as an Associate Consultant in the retina services.Later he moved to Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata where he worked as Senior Consultant in retina services until 2021.
Dr. Kumar Saurabh was awarded best outgoing clinical vitreoretina fellow at completion of his long term fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya Chennai.

Dr Kumar Saurabh has been treating retinal diseases for more than a decade. He has performed retinal surgeries for diverse indications which include retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, lens drop,macular hole and epiretinal membrane to name a few.
He regularly performs intravitreal injections for diabetic macular edema, age related macular degeneration (ARMD), polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (IPCV), retinal vein occlusion and other indications.He performs retinal lasers for diabetic retinopathy, retinal vasculitis, retinal vein occlusion and diabetic macular edema to name a few.
